The cords are stretchy, and most competition bikinis made with cord ties simply “lay” on the body. If you are looking for more padding or push up, it would be wise to choose a suit with actual straps and/or buckles such as the Electrified Sequins Competition Bikini. For even more support, you can choose a bikini with the double straps style such as the Unchained Melody Hologram Competition Bikini.
